Meet Jon Dinter. Jon has been a public school teacher and football coach for the past nine years. Ask any of his students and you will hear hundreds of stories of how Jon has served as a role model, a dedicated educator, a jokester, and at times, even a father figure.
Jon is no stranger to adversity, having already overcome a recent battle with brain cancer. Now Jon and his wife Jayme are facing a new challenge with the premature birth of their twin sons, August and Bowie. Born at just 23 weeks at less than 2 lbs each, the boys have yet to spend a night at home. In addition, August and Bowie have been living at separate hospitals, in separate cities in order to meet their unique health needs.
As you can imagine, Jon and Jayme spend every hour outside of work driving between both boys. On a public school teacher salary in Missouri, it is very difficult to cover the related and future expenses.
Let’s show Jon and that we value the meaningful work he does for the young people of our community by donating to his family during this time.
