Dinesh Daya - Replacement LIFT for Wheelchair User
Do you want to join me in making a difference? We are raising money in aid of Mr Dinesh Daya.
Mr Dinesh Daya had worked for Leicester City Council for well over 30 years and manned the car park at rear of the Leicester City Councils' - "Twin Towers" which were known as 'New Walk Centre' and have now been demolished and new buildings on the same site.
Dinesh is known to 'PCF' and has approached us with his plight.
Having personally worked at the council for 28 years I know first hand that Dinesh has helped 100's if not 1000's of individuals who would park at NWC as 'favours' and Dinesh would always try and HELP anyone who approached.
I have seen him at work and can confirm he was was truly helpful and all majority of the LCC staff will have come to him at some stage during their visit to NWC.
We are asking for your support to help Dinesh Daya for raising funds towards a new replacement lift for his his home, thus allowing him to go up and down as required and have a better quality of life. Since covid Dinesh has been stuck upstairs (first floor) and is unable to get come down as the dated LCC fitted lift is now considered dangerous and economical repair. LCC have stated that he can live upstairs and fail to recognise that he can not go out into his garden for fresh air or into the street in his wheelchair.
Thank you ALL in advance for your contributions to this wonderful cause which I know will improve Mr Daya's otherwise deteriorating health and dilemma.
