Dine Aid Waltham

Dine Aid Waltham is a fundraising effort led by the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation to support independent Waltham restaurants and their employees who are under extreme financial stress due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 
 
Inspired by an American tradition of supporting causes through music, this spring, the Charles River Museum is committing its three Spring 2021 concert series to help the local restaurant community.  - One-third of all funds contributed by donors and sponsors to concerts at the Museum this spring season will go to Dine Aid Waltham. 

Funds raised here and at the Museum will be partially allocated to the Waltham Waiters COVID Relief GoFundMe for Waltham restaurant employees and the restaurants themselves.

This project began in honor of the Waltham restaurant community's support of the Museum since 1992 through serving at the Museum's most important annual fundraiser: The Waltham Food, Wine, and Craft Beer Festival.  
 
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the cancellation of the Waltham Food, Wine & Craft Beer Festival in both 2020 and 2021. While being forced to cancel this fundraiser two years running is certainly a major setback to the Museum, the entire Museum team is well aware that the pandemic is wreaking havoc across many sectors of the economy, not the least of which is the hospitality industry.  

We wanted to do what we could to help our restaurants as they have helped us.
