Run for Malcolm
Tax deductible
62 miles throughout January
I'm doing this crazy challenge for my father in law who was diagnosed with terminal cancer earlier this year, after already battling numerous other cancers for the past 4 years. Every day he still smiles and fights the loosing battle that is cancer, whilst still being the best grandad there can be, even to sleeping on the floor for a sleepover with his 4 year old grandson. He literally is fighting this like a trooper and we are all immensely proud of him
So why 62 miles you ask, 62 was the age to which he was first diagnosed, so a mile to celebrate each year of good health he had, all in aid of weldmar hospice, as already they have been fantastic and I am sure over the next year they will continue to be, so please help, not just for Malcolm but for everyone who relies on the great work weldmar provide.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about Weldmar Hospicecare: Weldmar Hospicecare is an independent charity providing specialist end of life care for people living in Dorset. Our compassionate approach supports patients and their families in the community, at home, and in our hospice. All services are free of charge. We have a dedicated team of nurses, doctors, therapists, social workers, and counsellors, but only 21% of our funds are provided by the NHS - we must raise 18,000 pounds a day with the support of the local community to continue our services.
