DIG Ride for Mental Health

The #YellowIsForHello and Friendship Bench campaign (http://thefriendshipbench.org) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to decreasing the number of attempted and completed suicides among Canadian students. This grass roots organization helps educate students across Canada and empowers them to reach out to each other, making it OK to speak openly and honestly about mental health.
Their efforts have helped increase the number of kids seeking help from on-campus and local professionals by approximately 18%, where statistics are made available.
However, like all grassroots organizations, they need a helping hand to reach out to as many people as possible. At DIG we believe that part of our corporate mandate is to assist smaller charities that are making a real difference.
We are excited to announce that DIG will sponsor the 2nd Annual Motorcycle Ride to assist this great cause.
Riders will be traveling from Bolton, ON to Collingwood, ON on Saturday, July 15th, 2017.
Riders will meet at Tim Hortons (20 Queen St N, Bolton, ON L7E 1C8) at 09.30 AM before journeying through as many back roads as possible. The final destination is Chipper Fresh Cut Fries Inc. in Collingwood, ON
Riders! Join us! We'll be touring Hockley Valley and River Rd on our way up to Wasaga where we will do a short loop by the beach front, followed by lunch at Chipper's. We will then take a slightly different route back to Bolton. Each way is around 175 km and should take around 2.5 hrs each way. Prizes and other surprises await you!
