After my wife Ivette Velazquez came from buried her Dad in Puerto Rico. All the Family; Ivette, Camille, Camelia and myself were on our way to Walmart. A guy with a old black chevy van, ran a stop sign and hit us from the driver side ( t-Bone ) Our car spin twice before it landed between 2 lamppost. He stop with us! his car spin 180 land facing the opposite side.
The hit was so hard that Ivette and Camelia blackout for a while. I was so concern about the girls that did non realize that my window exploded and my glasses cut my left side of the face from ear to eye brow. Ivette came back first and then Camelia. Camille was crying and saying that she can't feel the left hip and leg. Camelia was disoriented and having amnesia. She said was sleepy and I was talking to her to make sure she stays awake. A neighbor call 911 and they came back quick. We went on 2 ambulances to the hospital.
Camille got a fracture pelvis and needs to be resting 4 weeks and to heel at least 9 weeks. Camelia needs to use crutches for a moth because her hips and neck is injured. That way she can be corrected.
Ivette got her left shoulder damage and need therapy. Because of the adrenaline I did not realize the I can't move my left shoulder and they want me to have and MRI to see whats going on.
Today my ex-layer told me, Because the Guy does not have a cover Insurance (only the basic) they droop the ball on our case.
Yes we need help for our family to pay the medical bills and expenses.
How we feel? This is Ivette in the comment on Facebook page that I think talk for our sentiments now
"My heart is broken, I'm try to be the best person that I can. I believe in people. But it is so hard for me to see my Camille in wheel chair trying by herself to do every day stuff and out of the school for at least 2 weeks, My Camelia walking in the house with crutches my husband trying to help every body in the house even when his arms are killing him , my left arm without movement and now the lawyer called us that he has to let us go because the irresponsible men who never stop in the stop sign doesn't has coverage for us. This is ridicules. I know I'm so grateful we are all alive but now we will have another account to pay (911 services including 2 ambulance) emergency room with MRI etc.) and no car. Plus the most painful thing is do not have my daddy with me. I'm really sad"
