Dianna's Flood Recovery Fund

My niece Dianna came home from work in the early hours of Christmas morning to find her apartment destroyed. The unit above hers had a hot water tank explosion which resulted in her apartment being flooded, and yes, that is the sky you see in the cover photo.

This was her getting-on-her-feet apartment and had everything she owned and treasured, including her 2 pups and 2 kitties. Everyone is safe, thankfully, but now Dianna needs somewhere to move into very quickly.

We are humbly asking for any kindness, whether it's a share or a donation, to help her and her animals find somewhere safe to stay and begin to replace her belongings. Clothes can be salvaged, but her furniture and mattress are toast.

Unfortunately, she was in a month-to-month lease with a friend who just had the couple of units, so we have no recourse in that route. Her landlord is just as devastated.
