I have been asked by Go Fund Me to include the following information in the "story".
My name is Gary Shook and I have been involved in various levels of leadership in the local pagan community for well over 30 years. I have been a friend of Diana Davis for a good portion of that time.
The funds collected from this campaign will be given directly to Diana to be used to help her with getting back on her feet after the tragic fire and loss of all of her things.
The plan for the withdrawal of these funds is to get Diana signed on to this campaign (tonight, October the 12th.) and to set up a withdrawal directly into her checking account.
100% of the funds collected will go to her, no funds will be retained by me or anyone else. Diana has agreed to post on her Facebook feed that the funds were transferred.
On Thursday, October the 10th a tragic fire swept thru Diana's mobile home park in Calimesa. She not only lost her home which was a total loss but all her earthly possessions besides the clothes on her back. She barely escaped the flames with her life. To make matters worse she had no insurance and is left with nothing.
Now is the time for this pagan community to step forward and show we care, show we do more then just send our "thoughts and prayers"... to do more than just post messages of sorrow on Facebook.... Now is the time for us to come together as one and DIG DEEP to help Diana. Reach into your pockets, reach into your bank account and give! No matter how hard or difficult people may think their lives are.. but are blessed with abundance in our country. When one of our brothers and sisters does experience a tragic loss we can all afford to help.
Diana need our support NOW, not sometime in the future. She needs our help to set up a new household and pay for all the things we take for granted in our lives. It appears the fire was started by a trash truck which was on fire dumping it's burning load on the street. Diana also need money for a lawyer to sue the trash company for her loss.
I have set a very modest goal of $1000, I hope to exceed that amount.
