DiamondBelle's Theft Recovery
Donation protected
While out of town recently exploring opportunities to expand my business and life journey, my home was broken into. Thieves took my shoes, clothing and other personal items, my computer and production equipment for my business, and my savings; but above all they took my livelihood.
DiamondBelle's T-Shirt Company is about more than just a business venture. I started this company in the wake of losing my little sister, Jodi Taylor, who was affectionately known as 'Diamond.' 'Belle' is for my grandmother, who was the most influential person in my life. My sister was violently murdered in our home town of Detroit, Michigan, at the early age of 24. In that grief, I was able to birth this business. I have served dozens of customers, commemorating special life events like birthdays and graduation, and have helped bring other small business owners' brands to life in print. This is the way I choose to keep my sister's spirit and name alive.
DiamondBelle's has experienced a great loss as a burgeoning business in Detroit. Due to this egregious act, I have had to cancel orders and my business has come to a screeching halt just as it was picking up momentum. I am asking my friends, family, and community to assist with the cost of replacing the equipment and materials I have lost while I pick up and put the pieces of my life back together. Every donation is appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read, share, and support this fundraiser.
