Dialysis Survival for Racheal
Donation protected
My daughter is now an adult. She has been a very hard worker since her senior year in high school. She was diagnosed with diabetes as a child. But later in life she began to have trouble with her blood pressure. Her blood pressure was difficult to control. In fact t it was never really controled. In August of this year she went to the hospital because she did not feel right. There she learned that she had kidney damage (down to 7% function) caused by a combination of both desieses . Along with the the kidney issue her eye sight has been damaged.
Racheal had just quit her job because she always dreamed of having her own business. She was doing well, but everything has come to a halt. She can no longer work. We have filed for her disability, but that may will not start until sometime in the first quarter 2018. With the kidney function so low, dailysis was started right away. She goes 3 times weekly for 4 hours each times she goes. After the treatment she is tired and week. As a result she sleeps the night and sleeps in a while the next day. She on the list for a kidney donor, but until then she will be on dailysis (and that could be for years). At this point Racheal has no income. She needs funding for the month of November, December , and January and possibly February because we don't have it and can't get it. The emergency savings is empty.
Racheal is a strong you woman and she wants to keep her life as close to normal as possible. The money donated would allow Racheal to
- continue renting the little house where she has been comfortable for some years.
-pay her utilities (water gas and electricity)
- transportation to and from dialysis
-pay her rental insurance
-pay copay's and medical bills
-provide food.
As her mother I will contribute $50.00 (more if I can) by the first of November, December, and January, and February if needed. We are hoping that 49 others will do the same. Please keep my daughter from eviction during this time in her life.
Thank you in advance
