SUPPORT US
Each year, the "Día de Los Muertos Collective" transforms Wychwood Barns into something magical. Filled with traditions, music, culinary delights, artistic presentations, character actors of mythical figures--these elements make the Day of the Dead celebrations at the Barns truly special. It is a genuine expression of the communities that make up Toronto. To be able to orchestrate such a feat, the celebration is made possible with the help of hundreds of artists, volunteers from the various communities, as well as arts, culture, and human rights organizations.

The magnitude and intricacy of this multi-day celebration also comes with high production and operation costs. With your help and monetary support, the "Día de los Muertos Collective" will be able to continue to deliver an authentic celebration. All donations make a difference. No matter where you are in the world, help us ensure that this tradition lives on and continues to be a legacy for future generations.

ABOUT
From the heart of the earth and the heavens, ancestral traditions permeate the space where life is celebrated and death honoured. Toronto is where our First Nations brothers and sisters share ancestral medicine, sacred fire, song, and dance each year, sharing in gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate in solidarity with the diverse communities embraced by this city. For 11 years, the "Día de Los Muertos Collective" continues to present the Mexican dance circle, offering its grace and movement in reverence to ancestors, as well as the altar that faces north to receive the energy coming from Mictlan, the underworld of Aztec mythology--the place where the dead go.

For 11 years, the "Día de Los Muertos Collective" continues to showcase and share authentic expressions of the Day of the Dead celebration, a tradition that crosses borders, unites cultures, builds and strengthens communities--all through sharing similar sentiments, passions, and experiences. It brings people together to remember and honour the dearly departed.
