Help Maggie Beat Cancer

Hi Everyone,
As many of you know, my mother Maggie had surgery in April of 2018 to remove a cancerous tumor from her colon. During the removal they also found several cancerous lymph nodes, which led to her being diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has metastasized to her stomach, lungs, liver, and thyroid.
The oncologist gave an estimate of one year life expectancy, or 2-3 years with chemo. Maggie has chosen not to do chemo at this time, but is instead pursuing alternative therapies with a naturopathic oncologist in Portland. Unfortunately, these therapies are not covered by her insurance.
In the past couple of months she has been experiencing severe pain in her shoulder and neck area due to a new tumor that was discovered on a recent CAT scan. The scan also showed significant growth of existing tumors and several new ones as well. She is now unable to work most of the time and occasionally has to skip gigs. In her down time she is doing extensive research on radical remissions and adhering to strict regimens pertaining to diet, meditation, and alternative medicine. She has also enrolled in a program (yet to be determined) at OHSU in Astoria.
Through all of this Maggie has managed to maintain a positive attitude with the help of her amazing friends and the healing power of music. She wants you all to know how incredibly grateful she is for all the support from her community and fans. Especially the folks who show up to all her gigs time and time again to convey their love.
