So much of every moment of every day lately has been encompassed on reflecting and thinking back on all the times we have heard and often told ourselves what you all just finished reading.
This post is tough to put out there. This journey has taken a toll and its time to do all we can to make it happen.
"Tell your story. It will inspire others"
I hope any part of that quote will prove to be true because this is not easy to put out into the universe. Some of you may know our struggles and some do not so let me get straight to it. Over 5 years married and 3 Fertility Specialists later, we have to finally accept the fact that having a baby will not be in our family plan without IVF. No exceptions. IVF it is. We have finally decided to accept the third opinion we have gotten and give it all we have to make this happen. Its no secret that coming to this decision has been one of the hardest to have to endure and the road ahead will be trying and take time and as you all know...financially stressful. Incredibly financially stressful. The number we have put as a goal for us to raise and come up with ourselves looks like a lot, and it will take more than that but they asked for a goal and we decided to be nothing short of 100% honest. That will be a good chunk of our financial stepping stone and we will also be using this number as a goal as we continue to personally save.
A few people near and dear to our hearts that have been a part of this journey with us as well as trillions of message boards read in bed into the wee hours of countless restless & sleepless nights have led us to now put not only our story into the universe, but to finally ask for help...every cent matters.
We are incredibly grateful to every Dr that has led us to this decision and for every warm heart and hug that has been there for us...now let's make this happen...
We are determined to bring a beautiful baby into our family and life and home and are ready for this journey! If you are actually finishing reading this...welcome to our journey as well! You are now officially a part of it, too <3
