It is with great sadness that we announced the sudden and tragic passing of my beautiful wife Devon Ann Gibson (Devon DeMarco).
Devon was truly one of the kindest hearted and charismatic individuals any of us have ever known; she loved unconditionally, laughed unabashedly, and she danced whether anyone was looking or not. She was fiercely loyal, incredibly driven, and she left an immediate impression on anyone she happened to meet.
Three years ago she set aside her successful Restaurant / Hospitality career to raise and care for our amazing son Garrett (born September 2017). I have never seen someone take to motherhood the way she did, she was positively aglow. I can say without a doubt that she was destined to be a mother, and she would have done anything for her little man.
Her tragic loss, at just 36, has left a tremendous void in our hearts and our lives.
Many of our friends, colleagues, and family members have reached out asking where to send donations. And while several have offered to set up this page in her memory, I wanted to find the words myself and do my best to share with you all the love she shared with us.
My calling now is to ensure Garrett grows up knowing how fiercely his mother loved him. And ensuring he grows up right and is able to carry her smile and her light out into this world... Lord knows we need more kindness like hers out there.
All donations will go towards Garrett's care, and everything remaining will be placed in a college fund in his name.
