2020 has been a year that all of us may never forget in our lives. It has taken a turn for the worse for us with news we have received today, December 28th, with the passing of our dearest brother and friend, Devender Reddy Nallamada. He met with a tragic accident, details of which are still being investigated. He was the sole bread earner for his family, survived by his wife, Anu Vupputuri and six years old daughter and also used to take care of his 70 years old mom.
He arrived in the USA and made a lot of personal connections and friends who treat him like family. Dev bhai, as he is fondly called by all of us, hails from Devarakonda, a town in the Nalgonda district of Telangana, India. Devender is well known to most of Indian diaspora in the USA for his affable, approachable and willingness to help people of both the USA and India. His affection for his homeland has no boundaries and he voluntarily fund-raised donations for several causes for back home in India. His active participation in multiple community forums and discussions had shown his interest towards the development of his hometown of Devarakonda. Dev bhai was actively involved in community service by aiding and assisting anyone who asked for help.
We are creating this page to assist his family with the funeral expenses while also creating a future aid for his daughters education and family support who will need all the support that we all can give. Already suffering with the loss of her wonderful husband, financial stress and strain should not be a concern on her mind.
We are requesting everyone who reads this to please contribute any amount they wish and help us with this support. No amount is a small amount and every contribution is directly sent to his wife for use of education and needs of his daughter.
