This year I will be participating in Pi Kappa Alpha's Dream Girl at Rowan University. I will be representing my sorority, Alpha Epsilon Phi, as we raise money in order to bring light to the importance of the heroin and opioid epidemic that is greatly affecting our nation.
All proceeds for this philanthropy event will be going towards the Heroin Epidemic Relief Organization (HERO). The HERO Organization was founded by Brian Kirk and John Roberts after their two sons were tragically taken from them while battling a heroin addiction. The HERO organization's main goal is to connect and build a support network of families who have also lost their children to heroin, and fight for a day where no parent or family member has to experience the loss of a child to addiction.
This organization has a special place in our hearts after the recent passing of a Rowan Pike brother. Any donation can help contribute to the aid and relief of those suffering. Thank you.
