My name is Allanah Serenity Morales & I am a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. & a current senior at Eastern Michigan University studying Criminal Justice with a concentration in Legal Studies.
As a Black woman, & as someone who has been on the front lines of these recent & ongoing protests, I am in absolute disgust with the current treatment towards our activists at the hands of crooked cops. I have witnessed first hand numerous injuries occurring to protesters. This medical relief fund is designed to support & assist our MICHIGAN activists with any financial burdens they may now be facing due to injury from fighting to protect Black lives.
