Determined to Live - Hodgkins Lyphoma

My name is Chinedu, I am 4 years old. I love to play football and enjoy playing with my older sisters (Chinemere and Muna). I have been diagnosed with cancer "Hodgkins Lyphoma" and other complications that comes with it like my kidneys are not functioning properly. I am thankful to God for having access to a dialysis machine which is helping my kidneys do their job. I am determined to beat this as many others have.
I just can’t wait to get back to playing footie again!
I live in Nigeria with my mother and two sisters whilst my Dad lives and work in the UK. The symptoms developed in Nigeria and had various treatment and surgeries with no improvement. As the symptoms became severe, I was flown to the UK as a matter of emergency where I was diagnosed with “Hodgkins Lypoma”. Luckily it hasn’t spread much and can hopefully be treated with Chemo. Since my diagnosis, I have a team of talented nurses and doctors looking after me here at St Georges ICU. They said I will be here for a while so the progress of my treatment can be monitored, so I have made myself very comfortable.... :)
Since my mother is in Nigeria and unable to urgently come to the UK, my dad, the family breadwinner has become my sole carer and as a result, has stopped working and now struggling to support the whole family. I am pleading for some financial support to help my Dad through these difficult times.
