Detective Joseph Seals Memorial Fund

I'm setting up this GoFundMe page to help the family of Joseph Seals. I am in direct contact with Carmine Disbrow JCPOBA president and Justin Smith, JCFD, one of Seals’s kid’s godfather and cousin. Seals was a detective for the JCPD and has been on the job since 2005 , but first and foremost he was a husband and a loving father of five children. He was killed in the line of duty while trying to apprehend two murder suspects. He was a compassionate man who would give you the shirt off his back. He was selfless and tried his hardest to help everyone around him. 

Seals and I worked together when he did off duty jobs at Hudson Lanes in Jersey City. Even when Jersey City did away with off duty jobs Seals would still make it a point to come check up on me or whoever was there. That was just the kind of guy he was.  If there was something wrong, he would try his best to fix it. If he couldn’t he would always use his sarcasm to put a smile on your face. 

With this unexpected loss, I want to help his wife and kids. Although no amount of money will bring this hero back, it will at least lessen some of the burden during this difficult time. Once we reach our goal his wife will be receiving a check in his honor.
