Destruction from Bomb Cyclone 2018
Donation protected
On March 2, 2018, a Bomb Cyclone Winter Storm hit Northeastern Pennsylvania, causing high winds and widespread power outages.
THANK GOD the Lehrian family (Maggie, Austin, Bodhi age 3, and Sawyer age 15 months) were out of town for the weekend and everyone is safe. They came back to find their house destroyed. Trees have fallen into their home and vehicle. It is going to be a while before their house is habitable again.
Though insurance will cover most of these costs, they expect to face hardships meeting deductibles, making up for lost wages, and funding a rental car, as well as other hidden costs that are likely to come up.
Every little bit helps, and your generosity will not go unnoticed. The Lehrians appreciate all of the support and kindness they have received since facing this devastation. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and whatever you are able to contribute during this stressful time.
