Destiny’s breast cancer fight

Destiny has been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma as well as inflammatory breast cancer, stage three. This is a very aggressive fast growing cancer.

Since her diagnosis, Destiny has been scanned, biopsied, poked and prodded. Cancer has been found in her lymph nodes in addition to her breast. While we are confident she has an excellent team of medical professionals overseeing her treatment plan, we also know there is a long road ahead.

Destiny will endure chemo therapy treatments, a double mastectomy, a hysterectomy followed by five weeks of radiation. This intense treatment plan will keep her from working for some time.

She is a mother, sister, daughter, friend and so much more to those that know her. Destiny has worked as a critical care nurse caring for so many critically ill patients over the years. Now it is our turn to help her. With three precious children Frankie (27) and two at home Haylee (12) and Dante (10) she has so much to fight for.

All funds received will be used to offset expenses in Destiny’s cancer treatments and alleviate stresses on her family. The biggest obstacle to her recovery is the stress and hardship that comes from not being able to work and care for her kids.
