Destini Goes to Dental School!

Well family friends, it is with great pleasure that I announce that I have been accepted into dental school! God willing, in the summer of 2020 I will be relocating to Nashville, Tennessee to further my education at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry. This has been a long and tough journey, but I’ve managed to make it through with the support of my closest family and friends! Everybody please keep me in your prayers because I’m going to need them in the next phase of my life.
Background: I recently graduated Cum Laude from Winston Salem State University (WSSU). I majored in biology, and graduated with a GPA of 3.49. I have over 300 hours of community service, and I have shadowed my desired profession of dentistry for more than 130 hours. I have participated in summer programs, internships, and research for my desired profession each summer that I attended WSSU.
It has been a dream of mine for me to become a dentist for as long as I can remember! I am so thankful and blessed to receive this amazing opportunity. Anything donated to me will be greatly appreciated and treasured. Thank you for investing in my dreams and future!
