Dear Friends, Family, Community, and Loved Ones!!!

Firstly, thanks so much for caring enough to click the link and learn about our plight. We love you and appreciate you for your care, your compassion, your curiosity, and your generosity. Love! Love!! Love!!!

We need your help to raise at least 2400 dollars to replace one stolen 2014 15'' Mac Book Pro and destroyed 2010 13'' Mac Book.

See, what had happened was...

Here is the short story: on June 7th, sweet and phenomenal Kei X Griot accidentally spilled some tea on Jezebel Delilah X's Mac Book. Darn you, Mercury! But, also, we love you universe and all your components. So, Kei and Gabrielle Wilson-Sealy loaned Jezebel Delilah X their brand new Mac Book Pro to use while her computer was in the shop. But, BUT, But!!!! Then that computer was stolen from a coffee shop right in the middle of JDX having an anxiety attack (double darn you, Mercury). So, now we're trying to replace both computers.

Oh yea, maybe we should get further acquainted!

As Kei and Gabrielle are filmmakers working on their documentary, "Dreams in Black Space," (view trailer) about being young, queer, homeless, Black Artists living in the Bay Area and making radical art in community, they really need a high speed, high memory machine of the same quality as the one that was stolen.

Jezebel Delilah X, as a writer, performance artist, educator, and editor for Black Girl Dangerous doesn't need a machine of the same quality, however. She merely needs a laptop that has the same functions as Microsoft Works and a high speed internet access.

So, rumor has it that you're feeling pretty generous?

We would appreciate any support you have to offer. Here are some of the ways support can look:

1) Spreading this campaign and hyping up your community.
2) Financial donations.
3) Maybe you have a working computer you no longer use that Jezebel Delilah X can have or borrow until she is able to replace hers.
4) Any good luck, well wishes, lighting of candles, and heartprayers you want to send our way.

Not to be cheesy, but supporting us is supporting awesome and liberating art activism!!!

Jezebel Delilah X is the senior editor at Black Girl Dangerous and spends many hours on the computer supporting queer and trans writers of color, most of whom have never been published, bring their experiences and ideas to tens of thousands of people around the world. She teaches English (and social justice, community accountability, confidence, critical thought, and self-love) at local community colleges. And, finally, she is a Bay Area writer and performance artists deeply dedicated to using her craft to deconstruct the ways we internalize and sustain systems of oppressions, as well as to celebrate and affirm the ways we practice loving compassion and liberation. When no one (by no one, she means every one) is looking, she's a dedicated romantic and shameless flirt.

Gabrielle Wilson-Sealy and Kei X Griot are the co-founders of BEYONDEEP Productions. They work combining various artistic mediums such as film, fine art, poetry, music/sound, and performance to try and create spaces of empowerment.  BEYONDEEP promotes visibility for those existing within and ouside the margins including homelessness, black/queer/trans people, poverty, erotism, and kink.  Through their various productions they intend to  heal intergenerational trauma and spread love in the community.

And, finally, our tragic tale...
Gabrielle Wilson-Sealy's mom, Becky, transitioned from this life on April 14th. The stolen computer was Becky's last gift to Gabrielle, a tender, loving investment in G and Kei's filmmaking, writing, and visual art career. Not only is this computer integral to their career, it represents a deeply emotional and spiritual moment in their lives.

We appreciate your attention, your support, your affection, your kindness, your love, and your generosity. Thank you so much for everything, for all the things, for your sweet thing (he he he)!
