Update #6 - Lil Mama had a CT scan done September 6, 2016. This scan showed many, many new tumors in her abdomen. A couple tumors are located in the intestines blocking food from moving down from the upper portion to the lower portion of the intestines Unfortunately surgery is not an option. DeShay has been placed on home hospice - but we REFUSE to give up!!!!! #1 - Lil Mama was diagnosed with stage 3 embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma on November 20, 2013. Just one week after celebrating her third birthday.
Update 10/15/2014: lil mama has completed 46 weeks of chemo and 4 weeks of radiation!!
Update #3 May 2015:
She is in Remission. Praise God!
Update #4 - 4/19/16 - DeShay had her normal 3 month follow up scans today. The RhabdoMonster has decided to come back :( She has a 4 inch tumor in her belly that will be removed by abdominal resection early next week. This certainly wasn't in our plans. We, will lean on our faith, to guide us and help up understand all this.
Update #5 - Shay had a CT scan that shows two new tumors since her surgery April 28. Keep Praying!!
