Deserving gift for a loving mom and caregiver

Hey,  my name is Erin and I just want to do what most kids want for their parents, give them the gift they deserve. Since birth my mom has been a strong independent women who saw the world for what it was, a tough place that shows no mercy. When she was young she was in and out of hospitals because of her bad kidneys and was told that she would never have children. Growing up she loves to take care of others and became an LPN. Then in 1988 she got some surprising news, Me. She was single and knew that to take care of me she would need a better job. When I was three she became an Rn and changed the lives of not only me, but countless others. She worked hospitals, home health, hospice, infant home health, and finally prison nurse. After a year or so at the prison she received troubling news, Breast Cancer. The next day she was scheduled for surgery and it wasn’t until years later that I found out had bad it really was. I was a teenager and didn’t want to make it harder on me than it already was. Unfortunately she didn’t qualify for aid and had to keep working to have insurance. She would go to Chemo on Friday and go to work on Monday and the same when she went through radiation. The cancer had spread to her lymph nodes in her right arm and had to have all of them removed. Every day was a battle and not once did she ask for help. After all the treatment came the real side affects, diabetes, COPD,  psoriasis, a laundry list of allergies. But she kept going until last November. It started with her oxygen dropping down to the low 80s so she went to the Dr. They noticed several problems but the main one was her kidneys, they were failing. Her left kidney was full of stones preventing urine to pass through. After a couple of months she was finally seen a Mayo Clinic and received treatment. But she continued to trouble breathing and walking. Her whole body seems to hurt. At her last procedure the Mayo Clinic did a CT on her pelvic region to make sure she was in the clear...well they saw something...lesions all over her pelvic bone. They are afraid that she has bone caner. She’s scheduled to been seen later this week to find out the  severity of it. It hurts to watch her get around, the shortness of breath, the tears coming from her eyes from the pain. We currently live in a single wide. It’s difficult for her to get around because there is not enough room a wheelchair or even a walker to get from one side of the house to the other. What I’m hoping for is enough money for a down payment on a bigger trailer. She’s worked so hard all her life and has never asked for a thing. Even in her darkest times she pulled up her big girl panties and kept moving forward to provide for us. I just want to give her something to show how much she means to me and those around her. I want her to be comfortable for however many years she has left. She deserves this more than anyone I know. I love her
