Des Down Unda!
Y'all what's up! Soooo if you haven't heard yet, God has completely transformed my life (for the best). He has moved into my heart, mind, and soul! Since God has taken over my life, He's been taking me on a very interesting journey. This journey I'm on is now going to run its course in Australia, where I will be attending Hillsong College. There I will be pursuing Youth ministry! That basically means I'll be learning how to communicate with young people/teenagers and give them spiritual guidance.
How I got here is a long story but to summarize... there was a time in my life when I was lost and didn't know what I was doing. Then, after living in NYC for a while, I encountered the presence of God in a personal and real way, and then my life was forever changed. The way I view myself and the way I view life in general began to look different.
When I began to feel God's presence in my life, I just felt an overwhelmingly amount of peace, wholeness, happiness, etc. This doesn't mean my life is perfect and that I don't experience pain, it just means that I am able to move through that pain in my life because my hope is in God and not what's in front of me.
Now that I have experienced something so great, I want to be able to tell young people (and whoever else that I cross paths with) about the freedom in God that exists. That there is more out there waiting for them. I want to be able to play a part in setting people free from whatever darkness they're in. I want to learn how to point people to God, the creator of the universe, the person with all the answers and all the security needed in this life.
Despite what you may or may not believe or understand, this is something that is supposed to be a very very good thing. What I want to do is supposed to benefit and help people.
Sooo now I am asking you to play a part in helping this vision become reality. By partnering with me in my finances for Hillsong College, we can make this dream turn into something extraordinary.
