Derrick Borecky Medical Fund

Hey everyone, how many of you have sat down after a long day at work, popped open your Facebook, starting scrolling down your feed, and you come across a picture that makes you stop, makes you smile, maybe even let out a "wow", and just stare for a few minutes?

I know that when I see that picture, I realize how talented people are, and how we are all a big family. Well, now one of our toy family members needs a helping hand. 

Derrick Borecky, his fiancee, Sarah, and their son Nathan are up against some steep medical bills. Without coverage, Derrick is out of pocket for all of his expenses sure to come. He has not even seen a specialist yet, and the bills are piling up. Luckily, they are able to get on a payment plan, but that still takes away from the every day cost of living, and again, upcoming surgery.

This is where us Superheroes come in. We spend a majority of our time surrounded by action figures, dioramas, movies, comics, and collectibles focused on people doing extraordinary things. Now it's our turn to be that hero to a man who would never ask for it on his own. Just today, his own son, Nathan, asked if he could get a job to help pay the bills. THAT is a superhero folks!


So put off buying that Marvel Legends figure for a week, and throw that $20 to helping a member of our community! If you can't afford $20, any denomination will help them out!
