I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to share the story of my beloved grandson, Derrick who resides in Uganda, Africa. At just 29 years old, Derrick has been diagnosed with bladder and liver cancer, a devastating blow to our family.

Derrick has always been a shining example of hard work and dedication. Despite the challenges life has thrown his way, he made the difficult decision to live closer to his job, often sacrificing time with his family during the week to ensure that they had a roof over their heads and food on the table. Derrick's weekends were reserved for spending precious moments with his wife and two young children 2 snd 7 years old whom he loves dearly.

A humble, polite, and good-hearted individual, Derrick has never hesitated to share whatever little he has with those in need. He is the epitome of gratitude, always appreciative of even the smallest gestures of kindness extended towards him.

Now, as Derrick faces the biggest challenge of his life, I am turning to you, our community, for support. The funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will go directly towards Derrick's medical treatment and expenses while he battles this aggressive disease. Additionally, we hope to alleviate some of the financial strain on his family by ensuring that his children can continue their education and that their home is safe and secure.
