Derith's Fund for Carolyn Round 2
Donation protected
A big thanks to everyone who contributed to help out Derith. In less than 24 hours, the $1,000 goal was surpassed! But, more help is needed...
Carolyn has been at the vet for a full month now. Her progress was stellar until last weekend when she suffered a bit of a setback with an infection in the front leg and founder. Thankfully Carolyn is insured. But, as most of us have probably found, insurance only helps do much.
Derith is understandably upset. So, let's do what we can to help her out by showing again how much she means to us!
----------------------------------------
Derith's beloved Carolyn was involved in a freak accident on Sunday, July 16th. The accident was pretty significant, lots of skin and tendon missing. The prognois for return to competition is poor. Thankfully, there is some hope she may still enjoy some trail rides with Derith in the future.
Carolyn is being treated by one of the best vets in Eastern Iowa using placental stuff and plasma. Her stay at the vet would be for at least two weeks. To make sure Carolyn has the best chance for recovery, Derith would like to keep her at the vet for three weeks.
That's where we come in. Derith has been there to help so many of us. Let's return the favor. Let's make that third week at the vet possible!!
