In times of tragedy, what helps us through and what keeps us strong is coming together. It breaks my heart to say we are in the most tragic of situations. On Tuesday 4/3, the CH-53E Helicopter carrying U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Derik P. Holley - Father - Husband - Hero.. went down and changed our lives forever.
His wife Kasey, and son Dane, need our prayers and our support.
Derik Is an example of a true man, putting family first in all the things he did, and always leading by example. The passion he showed for being a father is a bar set high that we all as men should strive to meet. There is no doubt he is in Heaven rejoicing with our Lord and Savior and watching over us.
As insignificant as the things of this world, like money, seem in times like this- if we can provide a window where the Holley family can not have to worry about anything financial and focus on each other and healing, then we should do our best to make it happen. Let us be a blessing to the family and the man that has blessed us so much over the time we have known them.
