Derek and Crystal - The Road To Together

Hello Everyone.   My name is Derek.   My life's been an adventure so far, some good, some bad.  One of the best moments in my life, was when I met Crystal.  It was love at first sight, as soon as I met her.  She means the world to me, but one thing has kept us separate, and that is that she is a Canadian citizen, and I live in the United States.  We've been able to visit each other on and off for the past few years, though the last year, we sadly had to spend apart, due to the travel restrictions brought on by the pandemic.  Things were starting to look up,  my being finally able to immigrate to be with her was on the horizon, but then as it does, life threw us another curveball.

I was given little notice, but I suddenly find myself without a roommate, to help share the bills until our lease would have been up near the end of the year.  We had been in the apartment so long, with several cats, that finding a roommate who would want to move in to replace them would be quite difficult, if not impossible.  I work six days a week already, and it's still not nearly enough to pay both rent, utilities and for food and my medication.  

I'm even going to have to find a new home for my little buddy Franklin, I've had him nearly all of his life, and he's going to need to find a new family.   

Money would go towards rent and utilities as well as veterinary bills for Franklin, to help me build up a little nest egg to help with moving expenses, and to help speed the way towards my little guy to have a new forever home.   Just the cost of sponsorship to move to Canada is nearly $1,000 on it's own.   It would mean the world to me to be able to reunite with my Girlfriend, now Fiance, so we can begin our new life together.
