Derby NICU unit

Donation protected
On the 25th of September 2020 I gave birth via c-section to my baby girl Delilah-Grace. Due to injecting insulin her lungs were not mature enough and had fluid, she also developed a chest infection.  I wasn’t allowed to see her for the first 5 hours. She was on antibiotics and over 80% of oxygen, meaning she was unable to breath unaided. If it wasn’t for the Derby Royal Neonatal Intensive Care Unit my baby would not be alive today! They have 24 spaces for premature and sick babies. As me and her father don’t drive they let us stay in their flat at the hospital, which we are still currently staying at until she can be discharged. Due to COVID restrictions parents are only allowed on the ward once a day and once you leave the unit you cannot return for 24 hours. So the money raised will help go towards funding for the rooms for parents to stay in and for food to be provided for them whilst they stay. I know how difficult it can be and this would just help massively and lift a little weight off the parents and workers shoulders, whilst also giving them the time they need with their precious little ones. All donations are appreciated, thankyou for reading❤️
