New Wheelchair for Kyle

Help Kyle get the wheelchair of his dreams!
Kyle is now 15 years old and it has been almost 4 years since he was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre-Syndrom changing his life forever. We have learned and grown so much since then. Doctors are still telling us they don't think he will ever walk again, at least not more that a few steps.
I am so proud of him and all his hard work and for never giving up! We are all still working hard everyday and keep moving forward while we are learning how to do life an all new way with Kyle being in a wheelchair.
He has been using a older used push wheelchair for a few years now along with his electric wheelchair he left the hospital with 4 years ago. He has grown so much since then, he is now a teenager and ready for a new custom wheelchair made just for him and his needs.
We are hoping our insurance will pay for most of his new push chair, but insurance will only give him a very basic wheelchair, not the cool one he is really wanting. We will have to come up with the difference on our own and we really don't know how much that even is, so our goal may change as we learn more and check into prices...everything medical is so expensive!
Being 15, having a life changing illness and being in a wheelchair is harder than I can even imagine. Kyle has kept his faith and trust in God, stayed positive, happy and worked so hard through all this that we are really hoping to come up with enough money that we can get him the chair he is really wishing for with all the extras that he likes so much. It would be such a blessing to get him a wheelchair he feels cool in!
We are hoping to get a light weight, up-graded push wheelchair for Kyle, he has picked out a few that he really likes (see photos in comments) and thinks are really cool! It would be AWESOME to be able to get him the chair he is thinking of! We are even hoping to get a extra set of wheels just for when he goes in the dirt trails and grass.
We will be talking to the seating clinic in October sometime about Kyle's new chair...so we have a few months to save up and raise all the money we can! We aren't sure exactly how much we need to save up and raise like I said before, but know it will be at least $2000 or so. Everything for custom wheelchairs is so expensive! All the money we can save up and raise by the end of October will be put towards the wheelchair of his dreams!
We are keeping our faith and trust in God and know he is in control of this journey we are on. He has been with us every step of the way and we are excited to see what God has planned for Kyle and our family!
