Denver Street School Does Alaska

In February 2017, four of our brave students set out for a week of adventure and healing at the Hearts Going Toward Wellness conference in Port Alsworth, Alaska with Miss Leyba and our partners at The Hesed Project and Tanalian Leadership Center.
This February, we have the opportunity to send six students back to the remote Alaskan wilderness for this incredibly impactful, gospel centered conference on trauma, healing, forgiveness, and more!
Because of our students' challenging economic situations, we are setting out to raise $7,500 to cover airfare, transportation, conference expenses, food, and housing for the week. We were overwhelmed by your generosity and the Lord's provision for this trip last year and are confidently hoping that we will raise enough money to send all six of our students out for the experience of a lifetime.
