Dennis's Campaign for Macmillan Cancer Support

I'm raising money in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. So many people are devastated by Cancer. My family & friends have faced and continue to face these awful challenges.  But Macmillian  answered the call. They are there in the darkest of days; diagnosis, treatment, and often sadly, after passing of a loved one.  They explained the technical terms at a time I felt my world crashing in around me and supported me with my Mental Health.  They were there for my family, aswell as so many others. But they need funding.  Please  help me to help them so that they can continue to do this valuable work that so many people need.  What's the plan? Jump out of a fully functioning aeroplane,  hurtling to the ground and hope the guy I'm tandem with isn't having a bad day, and pulls the cord, thus landing safely.  For someone riddled with anxiety, and terrified of heights, to me that's the greatest challenge. However,  there's a catch, I was about 24 stone. And the maximum weight requirement was 15. Give up right? Not what my mum would of done.  So I battled, I dieted, I ran,  I sweated. I worked hard to shift the weight, and fight my demons.  That battle continues, but happy to report I'm now 15.8 stone, and falling. So close. End goal 10 stone loss! 24-14.  I will pay for the flight myself, all monies will be going to Macmillan. Still not convinced?  Well, my inspirational father inlaw, Nigel Pearce, who is a long term MS survivor and registered blind, has kindly offered to up the stakes, and hopefully funds, and do this with me! Amazing.  So please, help Macmillan do the amazing job they do.   Thank you, so very much  Dennis & Nigel.
