Anyone that knows Debbie & Dennis knows how everything they do revolves around family.
Please read below, from their daughter Megan:
“Two weeks ago he went in for extreme weakness and excruciating shoulder pain. They found out he had massive internal bleeding and aggressive lung cancer. He sustained a massive stroke and now is under hospice care. 3 weeks ago he was playing with my kids in the ocean and camping with us at El Capitan. This was totally unexpected. He was just at my house watch Hamilton on Disney+ with my mom and watching the kids swim. What makes this so hard is that our family is so unbelievably close. Maddix is my dad very best friend. My 7 year old sobs all day that he misses his best friend. My dad never misses my boys soccer games, calls sweet Ella his beauty queen and cheered her on for her dancing and her love of cooking. He wanted her to start a kids cooking channel. Maddix and Dennis just started building a chicken coop together. I just can’t believe that he won’t be here for all of our adventures ”
Debbie and their children, Megan, Mara & Kai, are there everyday holding his hand, telling him that they will take care of each other and continue their family camping trips and adventures. That they will look for him in the everyday miracles around them - and know that he will be looking down on them, cheering them on until they meet again. ♥️
This GoFundMe will be set up for Debbie, to help with any unexpected expenses. We are trying to find a way to ease some of his family's pain and provide any financial assistance needed.
