Denis Family vs Lymphoma

Amanda was first diagnosed with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma when she was 17. For this she received chemotherapy and then radiation as she experienced a relapse during treatment. Switching the treatments worked, she was successfully in remission.
It was around two years after this that I started dating Amanda, I could go on forever about how great this time was but I will stick more to the facts. Almost six months after we started dating during one of her check ups at the Cross Cancer Institute they noticed something was wrong. After running some tests, they came back positive as another relapse. They decided this time to use a some what newer treatment called a stem cell transplant. She received some stimulating chemotherapy and then was admitted to the hospital for the transplant. She spent three hellish weeks admitted, mostly in isolation due to no immune system, before being released to finish recovering at home.
After going back to the Cross for three years for check ups her Doctor fully released her with full confidence that after such a treatment that there was no chance of it returning this time. We got married, bought a home and had two kids.
Almost 10 years had passed since her transplant when this monster showed its ugly face again.
It was a couple months after our daughter had been born during the post partem checkups that concern about some stomach pain arrose. After having numerous tests run it was confirmed it was yet another relapse of the exact same Lymphoma. The Doctors decided on a stem cell transplant again, however this time they gave her six cycles of chemotherapy leading up to the transplant. This has left her extremely exhausted and not able to keep up with our two young children now almost 3 and 10 months. Due to this it became obvious I was needed at home. I have been off work to help around home since the end of April getting by on disabiltly and picking away at our savings. Unfortunatly now just over 3 weeks from her admitting date for her transplant the savings have run dry and the disabiltly is getting almost halfed as it enters "long-term".
So it is under these dire circumstances that we are asking for help to keep me at my wife's side to give her the help and support she needs to get through this tough time. Any funds raised here will go towards bills and the regular costs of raising kids as well as transportation, parking and food costs of traveling back and forth between our home in Whitecourt and the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton where Amanda will be admitted for at least three weeks again.
