Denise's Head Injury Recovery
Donation protected
Our friend Denise Dyckman suffered a subdural hematoma to the brain on July 16, 2017 after falling off her bicycle. Denise was medflighted to Brigham and Women's Hospital in a coma and underwent major brain surgery to remove hematoma. It is a miracle that she is still with us, as the odds were not in her favor for recovery. Despite the odds, Denise is recovering, but still has a way to go before her speech and motor skills fully return. Denise is unable to work or drive, and will need accomodations for home upon her discharge from Spaulding Rehab Hospital this week. I know Denise and her family would appreciate any help that could be sent her way at this difficult time to help her with recovery.
