Denise Hicks Kicks Cancer

Denise Hicks is age 55, Mother of 3, and Grandmother of 1. She started Chemo therapy today. She has been diagnosed with Stage 3, Squamous carcinoma of the nasopharynx.  She will undergo 2 months of aggressive Chemo therapy, followed by an additional 2 to 3 months of Chemo therapy along with daily radiation treatments.

Denise took early retirement a few years ago in order to raise her only grandchild. She still helps support her two older children and is basically on a fixed income.  This is why we are reaching out to you for your help. Denise had a hard time making ends meet prior to being diagnosed with cancer and now she cannot afford her copay and out of pocket expense for the remaining of this year and next.

Any amount of donation will be appreciated. A goal of 10,000 dollars of donations is in mind and can be achievable with the help of several people. If simply 500 people donated 20 dollars, then the goal could be achieved. Finally, networking to other friends and family would help spread the word and increase the chances of reaching the goal.
