Demonstration Farm— agriculture start up.

Hello everyone,

My name is Mulinzi Jordan, I’m a climate and environmental advocate from Uganda.

I have been an activist for 3 years. I’m passionate about water and food resources in Africa, and my wildest dream is to revolutionize African agriculture and fight for all children in Africa to have access to clean and safe drinking water! “I know it’s a big dream”

But anything is possible!

I have decided to start small, with a demonstration farm. It’s going to be a small farm though it will be used to teach various agricultural techniques and technologies, showcasing new and improved crops.

“It’s going to be an avenue for research and test new methods of farming alongside traditional ones”.

According to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization a record 278 million people are already facing hunger in Africa.

Now more than ever projects like this are needed in African countries to solve some of Africa’s most persistent challenges for instance degraded soils, or the low adoption of irrigation technologies

The farm is going to have different types of crops and crop varieties, livestock and poultry breeds, apiculture, fish sector and technology such as drip irrigation.

The idea is to have several across the country that will be spearheaded by the young people that will be trained from the main farm(one I’m raising funds to start up)
