Dementia Dad- Korean War Vet!

Hello, I am reaching out to all of you in the hopes of helping me transfer my dad from a care home in Burnaby BC to Saint -Anne's hospital here in Montreal. Me and my dad are all we have. We don't have other family and I am the only child. He was admitted to the care home June 22, 2018 and has been declining rapidly. There was no power of attorney put in place and I did not have any control of what was happening to my dad until 2 months ago when his doctor deemed him incapable of making decisions on his own. I am 3465 miles away from my dad and it has been a heart breaking, stressful journey trying to intervene with the treatments the care home had him on. The doctor had him on so many opioids that he became despondent. They basically had him in a state of vegetation and restrained in a wheelchair to the point that he could not use the bathroom and therefore contracted a urinary infection which almost killed him. He  was rushed to hospital at the very last minute and almost didn't make it. I immediately flew to BC to be with my dad and watching him be so weak and frail was indescribable. My dad is a Korean War Vet and to see him being treated so badly in this care home breaks my heart.  To know that he fought in the war for these people to have the freedom to do the work they do and to treat him and others this way is deplorable! 
I am asking for your help with Airfare for a companion to travel with him to Montreal to be admitted to Saint-Anne's Hospital and to be closer to me so that I can take care of him in his last years. My dad and I did not have a good relationship through the years, but is our chance to make it count.  I have an admission date for Saint -Anne's for July 3rd. I have enough money to cover my dad's airfare, but not enough to cover a companion. They can fly free to Montreal (I pay the taxes)  but I have to pay the full return fare.
