Delwing Alberto "Beto" Varela was a shining force in my husband and my life for over 28 years. My husband, Carlos met him when he was in his late teens and the two of them were inseperable.
Best friends from the get go, I was honored to call him brother and to have him stand with my husband and me as our best man as we said our wedding vows.
Beto was a wonderful brother, uncle and friend. Our children adored him, he was always looking for things to do with them. Aiden's favorite memory is when Uncle Beto took him to the Zoo with Evan and Mame' (Grandma). Albert was a God send to my mother, she loved him and called him her "boyfriend". As her illness progressed Albert was one of the people who helped us with her care.
With Alberts passing we are faced with the need to handle his finial rest. It is with this that we need assistance. Per his request his organs were donated to help others and we are going to have his remains cremated. Any assistance you can give would be greatly appreciated.
