Deliah Sitorius was diagnosed with a brain tumor on August 9, 2019.
From Ashley Sitorius (Mom), August 9, 2019:
Our family and especially Deliah could use all the prayers right now. We're currently waiting on an ambulance transfer to Chapel Hill.
She had an MRI this morning due to frequent headaches. I got a devastating phone call no mother ever wants to receive.
They found a mass/tumor in her 4th Ventricle.
From Alex Sitorius (Dad), August 17, 2019:
They were able to remove 2/3rds of Deliah's tumor. It's a form of aggressive cancer.
The tumor has been sent to St. Jude's for further pathology. We're in limbo until then.
Friends and family,
We would like to ask you to join us in supporting this wonderful family. The costs of being in a hospital and away from home for an extended period can be overwhelming. Let's join together to support them and alleviate the worry of finances while they spend their energy loving and caring for their beautiful daughter.
