La Delegación CEJA UCAB es un grupo de estudiantes de Derecho de la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (Caracas, Venezuela) que tiene por propósito la formación de personas calificadas para competir internacionalmente cada año en la Competencia Interamericana Eduardo Jiménez de Aréchaga (CEJA), la cual es organizada por la Asociación Costarricense de Derecho Internacional (ACODI) y se celebra en la sede de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos, en San José, Costa Ríca.
Actualmente, Venezuela transcurre por una crisis económica altamente complicada. Para julio del 2018, el salario de un trabajador promedio ronda los 4$. Por su parte, los diversos controles cambiarios hacen imposible el acceso a divisas extranjeras por medio del gobierno.
A pesar de esas circunstancia, la Delegación no ha dejado de asistir anualmente a la Competencia, manteniendo siempre un destacado nivel de participación donde el nombre de nuestra Universidad y Venezuela siempre ha quedado muy alto, al punto que, el año pasado, fuimos la primera Universidad Venezolana en obtener el primer lugar en CEJA, teniendo en nuestro haber histórico otras distinciones, tales como un segundo lugar (2002), un tercer lugar (Semifinales 2016), un premio a mejor Escrito de Demanda (2016) y dos premios a mejores oradores (2012 y 2018).
De esta manera, es de suma importancia para nosotros asistir a esta competencia, para continuar demostrando la formación que hemos recibido en el área jurídica, pese a las grave crisis política y económica en la que se encuentra Venezuela y poder así, dar testimonio de la lucha por la reivindicación de los derechos humanos que se vive en Venezuela.
Es por eso que necesitamos tu ayuda, pues, es una de las pocas formas que nos permitirán cubrir los costos de viajar y competir en Costa Rica.

Nota: Esta Campaña fue creada por mi persona, Sabrina Pascuzzo, en beneficio de mi novio, Gabriel Ortiz y su Delegación de Derechos Humanos de la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, que asiste a la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos. Gabriel se desempeña como Entrenador de la Delegación.
Yo nací en Venezuela, y tengo esa nacionalidad, pero actualmente estoy radicada en Italia, de donde también soy nacional.
Como se señalo más arriba, el dinero será destinado a cubrir los gastos de pasajes aéreos, hospedaje, transporte y comida requeridos para poder llegar hasta Costa Rica. De todas formas los detalles sobre como se invertirá el dinero pueden encontrarlos en las imagenes del texto de arriba.
El plan para administrar el dinero es que todos aquellos gastos requeridos por la Delegación seran cubiertos desde mi cuenta una vez que el dinero llegue, en especial lo más urgente que es el hospedaje, pues, a este punto con lo recaudado es lo único para lo que realmente se tienen suficientes fondos. (Se estarán quedando en un Air Bnb, que es lo más económico)

The Delegation CEJA UCAB is a group of Law students from the Catholic University Andrés Bello (Caracas, Venezuela) whose purpose is the formation of qualified persons to compete internationally each year in the Eduardo Jiménez de Aréchaga Inter-American Moot Court (CEJA in Spanish), which is organized annually by the International Costa Rican Law Association (ACODI in Spanish) and is celebrated in the headquarters of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in San José, Costa Rica.
Currently, Venezuela is undergoing a very complicated economic crisis. As of July 2018, the average worker wage was 4$. On the other hand, different currency controls make the foreign currencies access through the government impossible.
Despite the circumstances, the Delegation has not stopped assisting annually to the Competence, always keeping an outstanding participation level where the name of the university and of Venezuela has always been kept highly, to the point where, last year, we were the first Venezuelan university be awarded first place in CEJA, and having other historic distinctions, such as a second place (2002), a third place (2016 semifinals), a Best Written Plead award (2016) and two Best Speaker awards (2012 and 2018).
Because of this, it is of utmost importance for us to assist to this competence, to continue demonstrating the formation we have received in the juridical scope, despite the grave political and economic problems that Venezuela finds itself in, and to be able to testify about the human rights revindication that Venezuela undergoes.
Because of that we need your help, as it is one of the few ways that will allow us to cover out travel expenses and to compete in Costa Rica.
Each donation, small or big as it may be, helps. Along with you, everything is possible. Our country, our university and we thank you!

I was born in Venezuela, and I have that nationality, but I am currently based in Italy, where I am also a national.
As I previously said, the money will be destined to cover the expenses of air tickets, lodging, transportation and food required to reach Costa Rica. Anyway the details on how the money will be invested can be found in the images of the text above.
The plan to manage the money is that all the expenses required by the delegation will be covered from my account once the money arrives. Especially the case of lodging, that is the most urgent issue, then, at this point with what has been collected it’s only enough to cover the expenses of that task (lodging). (They will be staying in an Air BNB, which is the most economical)
