Service Dog for Sara

I am a 16 year old girl who has been struggling with debilitating hallucinations, psychotic episodes, paranoia, and extreme mood swings. I have found comfort in animals my whole life, especially horses and dogs. When I am with animals, all forms of hallucinations and paranoia decrease significantly. My doctor recommended that I get a PSD (Psychiatric Service Dog) but training is quite expensive. However, at this point, having a PSD is necessarry for me to be able to lead a more normal life and be able to go into public places without constant supervision. I may not be able to complete school in regular time due to my disabilities and even end up back in psych ward again if something doesn't change soon. My PSD can be trained to alert me if a real person is in the room versus my hallucination, block me from close contact in crowded and overwhelming situations, and interrupt repetitive behaviors that occur when I'm having an attack. Also, it would be amazing to have a friend I could count on 24/7 to always be there for me if I'm having a severe episode or just to support me in stressful situations.
