Del Sur Cafe Employee Relief Fund

Del Sur Cafe is a new family-owned South American restaurant in Dupont Circle and had only been open for about three months before the coronavirus pandemic forced them to temporarily close on March 20th, 2020.
During the time they were closed, the owners have been working on a way to provide monetary assistance to their employees through applying for both federal and district government loans and to determine the best and safest way to reopen for delivery and takeout. Unfortunately, these funds have failed to materialize and we cannot wait any longer.
We are planning to reopen with a limited menu and hours for no-contact delivery and takeout on Wednesday May 6th. Please visit our website www.delsurcafe.com for more detailed information.
We now call on our family, friends, and our community to help raise funds so that we can provide relief to our workers who have been hit the hardest. All donations to this fund will go to paying our employees their lost wages. On our part we will also donate 100% of the tips that we bring in to this fund.
