Dee Davis Memorial Fund
Dolores Ann Judith Ostlund Davis gracefully entered into heaven Wednesday, August 15th. We are deeply saddened by her passing, and yet rejoicing in her entering into the joy of the Lord. Thousands of single mothers, anyone "down on their luck" or just needing a place to stay for a while, saw their entire futures changed by "Mama Dee". Her life was an inspiration to any and all who knew her and our family, both immediate, extended and those "adopted" by her loving heart will feel her loss deeply.
Dee and Clay spent decades serving others, giving of their talents, time and love in numerous small churches in Virginia and North Carolina. Those years, while fruitful in spiritual blessings, did not provide a firm financial foundation for times such as what Clay is facing now.
Please consider, in lieu of flowers, contributing to this fund to help Clay remember their life, by easing the burden of this unexpected financial strain. Any amount is welcome to help us reach our goal.
Clay's daughter, Debbie Stokes, will be administering the funds to assist Clay in his time of need.
