A Life-Changing Opportunity for Deb LaPrairie
Here's her story:
I have an opportunity this fall, December 2-14, to join Extreme Mission Adventures on a mission trip to Peru. I will be joining my sister Anna Wilson, Pastor Randy White and his team of missionaries, traveling to Raya, Peru.
The Ashenika Indian people live in remote villages along the Amazon River. Our mission team will be sleeping and sharing life in their village. While we are in their village, our team will help with their personal needs, and we'll also be sharing the love of God with some of the least-reached people in our world. We will have adult and children ministries, share a film about the life of Jesus, teach Bible school, and distribute clothes and toys.
Each of us has God-given talents and skills; I have the heart of a child, and my passion is working with and teaching children. With my interpreter Gladys, I will be teaching Bible stories and doing Bible school crafts. I am so grateful to know I can be a positive part of children’s lives and share the love of God!
I’d like to ask for your help. I have raised $1,500 towards my trip expenses, but I will need an additional $1,500 before November 27th. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated.
