My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1998 at age 39. It was hard to see her struggle but with chemo and radiation it went into remission and currently still is. Since then she started to have symptoms of pain and found out she had a blood disorder along with a lung disease. My mom was put thru treatments of chemo for 5 days once a month and continued with her treatmental until the treatments no longer worked. She was in an out of university of Maryland and Anne Arundel hospital for over 5 months but has fought for 6 years with this illness. Now with this last run to the hospital the doctors have informed me that there is nothing more (medically) that they can do and so now she is in the final stages of life. She is in the care of hospice were they are keeping her comfortable. This has brought us to this point that keeping her there is a fee. Medicare cannot cover her room and board. Also she does not have life insurance so this also is a strain to come up with the funds. I am asking any friends or family to help make my mom's journey a smooth transition from life to after life! I know my mom is strong and she will continue to be until God calls her home! I thank you for all the support and prayers. God bless
