My name is Deborah McGraw and I’m Saving my sisters life!! Sheri Sprang is stage 5 Kidney Failure and Kidney transplant time is here. I’m a perfect match for her and it has taken 2 long years to get to a place where im medically and surgically cleared for donation. I recieved the cleared call yesterday 10/13/2017 !!! What a blessing and I’m so grateful that our Heavenly Father has chosen me to do this.
Sheri Sprang is currently on dyalisis 3 days a week and her quality of life is very poor.
She was born with Fibromuscular Dysplasia wich has affected her renal arteries. That in turn affected her kidneys and caused her to lose 1 kidney function as a teen and she did not realize that had happened until she was 28 and went to the emergency room because she was very ill and they told her she was in total kidney failure on her seconed kidney.
That year she had angioplasty surgery on her renal arteries of that remaining kidney as they were hoping to save her life with that surgery and it was successful.
The doctors told her she would need a transplant by 40 , she has made it to 54 but the last 2 year her health has drastically declined and it is now time for kidney transplant!!!
I’m currently trying to collect donations to get 2 round trip airline tickets to Cleveland Ohio where the surgery will be done, as well as a rental car for 2 weeks to get back and forth for appointments as i will be 1 hour drive away from the hospital after I get released.
Also need a hotel room for my support person for at least a week.
Then the rest is to help me pay my bare minimum bills for November and Dec so I can recoup and to stock up Sheris house with the things she needs to recoup at home for the following months.
Sheri lives on disability and only has bare minimum to get by each month. She has a job 1 day a week to make ends meet but with the transplant she will be unable to work until she is cleared and that process is long. Sheri’s Insurance is covering both sides of the surgery.
So please find it in your heart to help us with our life saving journey!!!
I live in Arizona and have for 20 years this will be my 3rd trip coming back to Ohio to prepare for this surgery and it is a financial strain on me. Im not working and wont be able to until cleared but hopefully in Jan.
Any amount will be greatly appreciated as I’m Saving her life and we both will be able to recover stress free.
We only have a short time to collect as we want surgery ASAP so we can hopefully enjoy the holidays with our families and loved ones.
Without these donations or any help our surgery will be delayed so please lets do this in the nest 3 weeks !!!!!
We need pick the date we want surgery and would like to do it befor thanksgiving. But without donations for the airfair and travel expenses we are hesitant to set and exact date as I’m afraid i wont get there with out money.
They conduct kidney transplants on Mon Tues Wed and Fri and we can pick the date we do it.
So please please help us save Sheri soon be for her condtion worsens!!!!
